Upcoming London Stampede Big Book of AV Tour & Conference Series Stop to Focus on Business Development, Training and Industry Trends

AVIXA UK and Ireland Regional Director Chris Lavelle to make keynote on the future of the commercial AV industry.

Stampede, the world’s leading value-added distributor of ProAV products and systems solutions, is taking its Big Book of AV Tour & Conference Series back to London on September 26, 2017 at Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow Hotel for its second stop in England this year. Registration is now open here.

“The London stop is held in conjunction with our European Vendor Summit so the focus will be on business development, manufacturer trainings, UAV demonstrations and a keynote presentation by AVIXA UK and Ireland Regional Director Chris Lavelle, who will talk about the future of the commercial AV industry as an immersive AV experience,” Stampede President & COO Kevin Kelly said today. “For resellers in the area, this is a must-attend event if they want to accelerate their business growth for the remainder of 2017 and beyond.”

The commitment to provide local market resellers with a unique combination of trade show exhibition, training, presentations and networking events is core to the philosophy of the Stampede Big Book of AV Tour & Conference Series. “North American resellers and manufacturers are very familiar with our formula for building and expanding their businesses and now the UK and Ireland are getting their opportunity to put the formula to work for them,” Kelly continued. “We combine core product categories with new product categories in ways that show dealers how they can continue to profit from integrating both into dynamic new business solutions.”

Indeed, unmanned aerial vehicles of every type will take center stage at the London area Big Book of AV Tour & Conference Series stop. The day begins at 10:00 AM with a Tech Showcase Exhibit and complimentary breakfast from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, while the presentations kick off at 10:15 AM with “Overview of the Drone/ UAS Industry and Business Potential” by Rob Luther, Stampede. This will be followed by the presentation, “Why High Bright?” by Gavin Croxford, Business Development Manager, UK & Ireland, Dynascan Technology; “The InfoComm PISCR Standard and the Benefits of Ambient Light Rejection” by Joseph Burke, European and UK Manager of Draper Group Ltd; “The Future of Projection” by Nelson Silva, Technical Support, Hitachi Europe Ltd; “A Choice of Videowall Technologies” by Darren Banks, UK and Eire Channel Sales Manager, Christie; “The Mission and Vision of AVIXA: Your Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association” by Christopher Lavelle, Regional Director UK and Ireland, AVIXA; “SY Electronics LTD” by Lewis Murphy, Account Manager, SY Electronics LTD, and finally, “Drone Video Systems: A New AV Category for A New Age of Opportunities” by Rob Luther, Stampede.

In addition to the presentations on how to integrate unmanned aerial vehicles and Drone Video Systems into a reseller’s sales strategy, the event will feature a Drone Cage. “Attendees will be able to experience drones in action,” Kelly emphasized today.  “They will be able to demo different drones as they learn how to profit from adding them to their product portfolio.”

Perhaps even more interesting to attendees will be the keynote presentation of AVIXA UK and Ireland Regional Director Chris Lavelle. AVIXA is the new name of InfoComm International and the change in names is more than cosmetic, according to Kelly. “AVIXA stands for the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association and that is exactly what we as an industry are creating each and every day — compelling and immersive customer experiences that generate better business outcomes for our customers,” he said. “Chris will present a compelling vision for the future of our industry, one that no one will want to miss.”

The event also includes an extensive schedule of exhibits, training sessions, product introductions and network opportunities. Participating exhibitors include Christie, Calibre, Drone Video Systems, Hitachi, Luidia, Mustang, and more.

Every attendee at the 2017 Big Book of AV Tour & Conference Series will receive a free premium individual AVIXA membership that provides, among other things, access to the online classes used to prepare for the CTS exam. In addition, dealers who purchase 10,000 GBP of AV products between the show and December 31, 2017 will earn an ISE Travel Credit of 1,000 GBP. They will also receive £400 Stampede Credit, and will be entered into a drawing for the chance to win a free drone.
