The home of country music is about to become the epicenter of ProAV business opportunity on May 21st, when the 2015 Stampede Big Book of AV Tour & Conference Series rolls into Nashville, Tennessee. The one-day event, featuring manufacturer exhibits, business building seminars, training sessions, and networking opportunities will take place at the Sheraton Music City Hotel (3777 McGavock Pike). Registration information can be found at www.bigbookofavtour.com.
The ProAV industry’s oldest and largest traveling roadshow is set to provide Nashville-area dealers with the opportunity to network with leading AV industry manufacturers, explore and test their new product offerings, attend CTS-certified trainings on a broad range of topics, and learn about new business growth opportunities such as the exciting ones offered by drones.
“The revenue that can be made from drones alone is substantial. Companies in the ProAV industry are just starting to see this potential and we are here to help them capitalize,” explained Stampede President & COO Kevin Kelly. “By providing drone options to dealers and their customers, we supply them with a new platform around which they can drive sales of a host of traditional ProAV products.”
The Nashville stop will offer training sessions including the “Overview of the Drone/UAS Industry and Business Potential” by Paul Dragos, “UAV Applications for the ProAV industry” which will feature exclusive insight into the Vidyo-equipped drone solution that’s quickly changing the safety and surveillance industry, “Atlona – 5 Things You Need to Know Before Installing 4K” by Joel Carroll, Regional Sales Manager at Atlona, “NEC 10 Steps to a Successful Video Wall” by Mark Weniger, Account Manager of Channel Sales at NEC, “Spring into Action with Luidia” by Keri Manasa, Regional Sales Manager at Luidia, “Learn how Christie Brio Can Make Collaborating a Breeze” with David Heeg of Christie Digital, “Technical Training on Drones” with TJ Diaz, CEO of XFLY Systems, and “Samsung, Sorting Out Media Players for Digital Signage” with Brian Kosich of Brawn Consulting.
Within the “UAV Applications for the ProAV industry” session, emphasis will be placed on showcasing the Vidyo-equipped drone that’s changing how first responders handle emergency situations. “Vidyo is equipping drones with the tools to operate effectively in pressure situations,” Kelly emphasized. “By utilizing video conferencing technology, the drone allows firefighters and ambulance personnel to watch live footage directly in a VidyoConference session. It’s an exciting development that’s truly shaping the industry for years to come.”
Furthermore, Stampede will offer event incentives such as a $500 Stampede credit to qualified attendees and a $50 Amex gift card to all in attendance the day of the Tour and Conference. Every attendee will also be entered into a drawing to win a 60” LG LED HDTV.
“These eight training sessions will serve attendees with all the knowledge and understanding they will need in the ProAV field, specifically with tapping into potential business opportunities, trends and profitability” commented Kelly. “Our presenters are some of the best in the country and should provide dealers and their customers with networking connections, open discussion forums and an amplified product portfolio for their businesses.”
