Safe Zone Appoints Technology Veteran Beth Clune as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development

Taking another step forward in strengthening its senior leadership team, Safe Zone, the award-winning manufacturer and marketer of the revolutionary Safe Zone Gunfire Detection System, today announced the appointment of technology veteran Beth Clune to serve as the company’s Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.

According to Safe Zone President Mike Anderson, the appointment comes at a time when the company is preparing to ramp up for the fourth quarter delivery of the Safe Zone system to customers in all vertical markets that are subject to the threat of a mass shooting incident.

“Beth brings nearly 25 years of broad-based sales, marketing, and business development experience to Safe Zone. This experience cuts across all product areas and market segments and includes the demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and manage programs that really drive sales. Beth Clune comes to Safe Zone from Stampede, the global leader in value added ProAV distribution, where she served since 2014 as the company’s Vice President of Channel Vendor Marketing, North America with responsibility for building and nurturing distribution relationships with Stampede’s key manufacturers, direct marketers, and reseller partners by providing customized channel sales, education, and marketing programs that drove growth, revenue, and engagement. 

Clune is a highly accomplished business development and brand strategist with a demonstrable history of motivational leadership, capturing revenue and market share while positioning organizations for explosive growth. Her areas of expertise include channel marketing, technology, telecommunications, retail consumer products, business-to-business, financial services, and membership organizations.
