The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), one of the nation’s largest state trade organizations dedicated to technology and innovation, recently recognized NanoLumens CEO Rick Cope as a Game Changer in Sports Technology. The Game Changers in Sports Technology identifies the innovators who are leading the way in this vibrant new tech sector. NanoLumens, the industry leading manufacturer and marketer of indoor and outdoor LED visualization solutions, has installed state-of-the-art LED displays in sports venues such as Gillette Stadium, the AmericanAirlines Arena, EverBank Field, and TD Garden, among many others.
“I’m honored and humbled to be included on this list of innovators, but the real credit goes to the entire NanoLumens team who, every day, turn visualization dreams into reality,” said Cope. “NanoLumens LED display visualization technology is helping stadium and arena owners to create an entirely new kind of fan experience — an unprecedented and engaging new kind of experience that is bringing more and more people out to the stadiums to see the games live.”
Georgia is fast becoming the place for sports technology. A combined $2 billion is being spent on high-tech sports facilities in the Peach State and an emerging number of tech companies focused on Sports Analytics, Fan Engagement, Digital Signage, E-Gaming, and more maintain a presence in the state.
