Strengthening the depth of its Pro Audio sales team, KMC, the industry leading high value added distributor of MI, B&O, and Pro Audio products, today announced the appointment of Derik Deibler to the newly created position of KMC Pro Audio Sales Development Manager, reporting directly to KMC Vice President of Sales James Tsaptsinos.
According to Tsaptsinos, Derik Deibler will work closely with KMC’s sales team to develop and implement programs that help the company’s network of 6,500 retailers to build their base of Pro Audio product sales. “Pro Audio is one of the fastest growing segments of the MI industry and Derik Deibler has the experience, market and product knowledge, and passion for the category that is going to help our dealers meet this growing customer demand for Pro Audio products,” KMC Vice President of Sales James Tsaptsinos said today. “Pro Audio is a very important part of our long-term business development strategy and we are making the investments required to drive our growth in this area.”
Derik Deibler comes to KMC from The Music People where, for the last four years, he served as National Accounts Manager. His responsibilities included the management of dealer accounts nationwide; the design of audio, video, and lighting solutions for The Music People’s dealer network; and design, product, and sales support. Prior to this, he served for 12 years as an independent audio, video, and lighting systems designer and contractor and provided support for a number of recording artists, live events, and music festivals. From 2006—2012 he was Manager of the LifeSong Music Center, and held responsibility for all day-to-day retail, buying, and vendor relations programs.
“I have been involved with sales my entire life,” Deibler said today. “I love every aspect of the sales process and I understand that my long-term success depends upon the success of the team that supports me and the retailers that we serve. I am very excited to become a part of KMC and I look forward to helping the company to exceed all of its Pro Audio sales objectives.”
