Core Brands Strengthens Technical Services Team, Appointing Timothy Madrid to Manager

Furthering its commitment to provide its dealers and integrators with the best technical support in the market, Core Brands, a Nortek company (Nasdaq: NTK), today announced the appointment of Timothy Madrid to Manager, Technical Services. Effective immediately, Madrid will report directly to Core Brands Director of Business Development and Customer Experience Joe Lautner.

Tim’s particularly strong background in software support will allow him to bring a fresh outlook to the A/V industry and provide our valued customers with the best support possible. We’re thrilled to have Tim taking the lead on our expert technical support team.”

Madrid comes to Core Brands from Kaiser, where he focused on streamlining business processes and customer support deliverables. Before Kaiser Permanente, Madrid was a Senior Manager at North American video game publisher Wargaming America, elevating all aspects of the fast-paced global customer support. Prior to Wargaming America, Madrid led the support at Mindjet, a mind-mapping software company. As Senior Manager of Customer Support and Service for the Americas and Asia Pacific regions at Mindjet, he built, trained and managed a team of 10 that provided customer service and all aspects of technical support.
