ClearOne CONVERGENCE AV Manager Software Now Free Until 2023

Underscoring its commitment to provide AV/IT practitioners with the tools they need to simplify, grow, and expand their business, ClearOne (NASDAQ: CLRO) today announced that its CONVERGENCE™ Cloud AV Manager and CONVERGENCE™ Enterprise AV Manager remote management software solutions will be available for free until 2023.

According to ClearOne Chair & CEO Zee Hakimoglu, the recent launches of the Cloud AV Manager service and Enterprise AV Manager software present valuable opportunities to ClearOne partners who can promise more responsive customer service and support.

“We are making our leading AV management platforms free for more than a year so every interested partner can develop new revenue streams without incurring any up-front costs,” Hakimoglu explained. “By pairing our groundbreaking Pro AV solutions with our powerful remote system management software, AV/IT practitioners can deliver new levels of customer service and satisfaction that benefit everyone.” Both platforms reduce operating costs by reducing the number of truck rolls and man hours required to manage systems

Building on ClearOne’s existing CONVERGENCE management software, both the new CONVERGENCE Cloud AV Manager and Enterprise AV Manager monitor and control any supported systems via a web portal that’s accessible from any device, anywhere in the world. With valuable tools such as auto-discovery of ClearOne Pro Audio devices, the ability to virtually partition systems by any location, and other time-saving features, both platforms are powerful ways to improve AV servicing. Additionally, both platforms can update the passwords for all a system’s devices at once, back up configuration files, set up push alerts for specific system issues, and have immediate insight into all connected installations at a moment’s notice. The web portal provides a central dashboard that shows all managed systems, allows quick access to troubleshoot or apply firmware updates, as well as view specific sites and rooms for closer monitoring and action. AV/IT practitioners can also view complete lists of ClearOne devices they manage and immediately identify status such as Healthy, Down, or Has Issues that require action. Built-in video, audio, and chat communications facilitate user support in both platforms.

Integrators using CONVERGENCE Cloud AV Manager can develop new revenue streams through subscription support contracts. ClearOne resellers can tailor their service offerings to individual client needs, including providing limited or total access to clients. The web portal features clear, intuitive graphics and organization, allowing users to navigate quickly and easily to view client systems. End-user pricing is up to value-added resellers, who can determine monthly subscription fees in contracts with clients. This enables new revenue streams and adds immense value to customer support services and contracts.

The CONVERGENCE Enterprise AV Manager is available with subscription licensing as an alternative to the Cloud AV Manager. It provides practitioners a self-maintained central hub for monitoring and control of ClearOne Pro Audio devices from different Local Agent AV Managers worldwide. Enterprise AV Manager can be operated entirely on-site or through a private cloud. Installations may be licensed on any internet-connected server, or to a specific machine to enable complete isolation for enhanced control and security. Users can improve online availability and performance by licensing multiple instances of the software for failover redundancy.
