Ride-hail technology innovator Bid2Ride today announced that it will sponsor the eighth annual Snallygaster Beer Festival on Saturday, October 12th in Washington D.C. Bid2Ride will be offering attendees $15 off their first ride using the promo code SNALLY2019.

Bid2Ride, which launched last month in Northern Virginia, is a first-of-its-kind hybrid app that combines bid-based pricing and aggregated rates to guarantee riders the lowest fare possible, with average savings between 25-35% per ride.
With Bid2Ride, riders simply enter their destination and set their desired bid price, based on the current rates offered by other ride-hail apps. Nearby drivers then view both the bid and the destination and accept or decline the ride. If no driver accepts the initial bid, the rider is guided to the Bid2Ride “aggregator” – which lists real-time rates of other ride-hail apps and allows the rider to jump straight to the app that’s offering the lowest rate.
This bid-to-aggregator flow guarantees that regardless of whether a bid is accepted, the rider still secures the lowest-possible rate.
Snallygaster is Washington DC’s largest beer festival now in its eighth year. The one-day festival features more than 400 craft beers and ciders from 150+ producers against a backdrop of top food trucks, live music, fun and games.
Snallygaster serves as the largest annual fundraiser for Arcadiafood.org, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a more equitable and sustainable local food system in the local region.
