Ashdown Engineering have appointed Davitt & Hanser, a division of the JAM U.S. Music Group, as its sole distributor in the United States for their flagship range of bass amplification. Since 1924 Davitt & Hanser have provided American MI retailers with wholesale music equipment and an extensive operations network.
Davitt & Hanser General Manager Jay Ensminger said, “The appointment by Ashdown Engineering, coupled with our existing range of exclusively distributed brands, further defines our new strategy, while complementing the market segments we are focused on growing this year. The pairing couldn’t be better matched.”
Ashdown has represented itself for the past two years in the United States, building great relationships with dealers throughout the country. “Our growth over the past six months has required more support than we could give in terms of inventory and shipping across the USA. We had been looking for the right new partner for the American market to cope with our expanding product lines – not forgetting that Ashdown is still very much a small, family run company. The team at Davitt & Hanser fit the bill perfectly and the timing could not be better for both parties”, said Ashdown’s Managing Director, Mark Gooday.
Since their launch in 1997, Ashdown have become a firm favorite choice of bass players around the globe. Known for their cool styling, tour proven reliability and superb tone, Ashdown bass amps can be seen on stages around the world with bands and artists such as Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, System of A Down and countless others. In addition to their industry-standard ABM range, Ashdown also offers bass amps for all situations and budgets — and not just sold out arenas.
Davitt & Hanser will begin facilitating Ashdown dealers in the US effective immediately.
