It’s time to get the golf clubs out of the garage and out to the driving range because the 29th Annual KMC Music EPU Charity Golf Tournament date has been set for June 6, 2016 at the Blue Fox Run Golf Course in Avon, Connecticut. According to KMC Music Vice President of Merchandising Roger Hart, a full day of golf, entertainment, networking, and special surprises is guaranteed for all!
“This annual event is the highlight of the year,” Hart said today. “It brings together our dealers, manufacturers, and industry colleagues all to support the Paul Newman Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. I don’t think there’s any other event in our industry that packs together so much fun and relationship building for the benefit of a very noble cause. We’re hoping to break our attendance record in 2016 so I encourage everyone to get their registration forms in as early as possible.”
According to Hart, the day’s program will begin at 10:00AM with registration, practice range, a putting green contest, and a box lunch. At 11:00AM everyone will tee off in the scramble format shotgun round of golf. A post-golf happy hour featuring a free wine and beer open bar will run from 4:00-5:00PM. The cash bar, dinner and awards ceremony will get underway at 5:00PM. As was the case for last year’s tournament, hotel rooms have been set aside at the Avon Old Farms Hotel in Avon, Connecticut. Participants are urged to reference Attendee Code 14374 and the “KMC Music Golf Tournament” when booking their reservation to qualify for a special rate. Tournament registration forms can be obtained by contacting Roger Hart at Roger.Hart@kmcmusic.com.
“We’re hoping that this year’s event is the biggest one yet, but, even if you can’t attend, we encourage everyone to make a tax deductible donation to benefit the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp,” Hart emphasized. The annual KMC Music Charity Golf Tournament has raised more than $150,000 for the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.
Will there be surprises awaiting some good (lucky) golfers this year? Of course there will be! The winner of the hole in one contest will receive an all expense paid trip for two to Key West, Florida and two sets of irons. Additional prizes await the winner of the Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Hit the Green Par 3 One Shot, and Putting contests.
